2019 will be my fifth year cycling with the American Lung Association. For the past four years, my wife Janet and I have explored the great state of Maine on the ALA's Trek Across Maine. Due to my wife's recent knee surgery, were mixing it up this year, and riding down on the Cape in the ALA's Autumn Escape Bike Trek at the end September.
The mission on the American Lung Association is to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.
You can help the ALA achieve this mission with a personal or corporate tax-deductable donation. Any amount, big or small, helps the fight against lung disease.
Thank you for your support! With your help, we can all breathe easier!
