I am excited to be back for my 8th year of Trek Across Maine participation and hoping for another great ride! I hope you can support my efforts and join the efforts of fighting lung disease, lung cancer and promoting clean air. The ALA does a fantastic job protecting the clean air we breathe every day - today, with the after effects of COVID that many people are experiencing, lung health is more important than ever.
I would be grateful for any support you might be able to provide in my fundraising efforts...... If you are able to contibute this year I sincerely thank you for your support! If you are a past contributor I thank you even more!!
Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.
The Trek is a 3-day, 180-mile bicycle ride throughout Maine . This year we start and end in Brunswick beginning on June 16th. The route takes along the Southern Maine coast before heading inland to end the first day in Lewston. Day 2 we head west and make our way along Long Lake and around the west side of Segago Lake as we cruise to Windham and St. Joseph's College for night 2. Day 3 we drop back toward the ocean as we make our way along the coast back to Brunswick.
I am looking forward to the trek and the opportunity to raise money for a great cause. I would appreciate any donation you might be able to make, no amount is too small. Even $5 helps.
Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation.
Thank you in advance for you support!
