Once again this year, My dad, uncle and I will once again join thousands of others and the American Lung Association in the virtual trek across Maine experience in order to raise money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health. As many of you know, we lost my grandmother many years ago to this horrible disease, so this cause is very near and dear to our hearts.

Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.
