Thank you for visitng my page. This is my 6th year participating in the Trek Across Maine. The Trek consists of a 185 mile bike ride to raise awareness and money for the American Lung Association. The Trek starts in Brunswick, ME travels to Bates College in Lewiston. From Bates we ride the second day to Colby College in Waterville and return to Brunswick the final day.
This is a very special year because not only do I have an amazing family and group for friends that supports me so that I am able to participate in such a great event, but my daughter Katelyn, 13 years old, will be riding along side of me this year. I am very blessed.
The money you donate goes to support the fight against lung cancer, COPD, Asthma and other serious lung diseases. Among my goals is to increase awareness about the importance of lung health. I have committed to join many other cyclists and the American Lung Association in a journey across Maine while raising money to help this great cause.
Did you know that lung cancer is the number one cancer killer of both men and women today? Another alarming fact is that lung disease is the third leading cause of death in the United States. Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation. Ask your HR Department about matching gifts and see your donation double in support of my efforts and the mission of the American Lung Association.
Thank you in advance for your support!!
