Once more into the breech!
This May, I will join more than one hundred other cyclists and the American Lung Association in a journey across the New Hampshire Seacoast while raising money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health.
Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.
There is nothing worse than the feeling of not being able to breathe. It isn't the same as getting the breath knocked out of you; it is much more terrifying. As a person with asthma this ride is important to me because it brings light to a challenge I have been fighting for over forty five years. This is my seventh year riding for the ALA.
This year will mark the ninth year I have participated in the Trek the Seacoast ride. I will be riding to supoort the ALA in their efforts to give hope to those who fight for their every breath due to respitory illness.
Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation.
Thank you in advance for you support!
