This June, I will join thousands of other cyclists in a 3-day, 180-mile cycling event across Maine, while raising money for the American Lung Association to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health. 

This year will be my 14th Trek Across Maine, riding in memory of both of my parents who died of lung disease. I am also riding for a friend and colleague who is currently undergoing chemotherapy for lung cancer. The heartbreaking memories of watching my loved ones struggle to breathe and see the devastating effects of lung disease is my motivation to participate every year. I am supporting the American Lung Association by raising money to help the millions of others who are battling lung disease.
