Greetings,
THANK YOU for considering a donation to the American Lung Association! This June, I will join hundreds of other cyclists and the American Lung Association in a journey across Maine while raising money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health.
I’ve participated in the Trek since 2010 and friends have joined by donating over $20,000 to ALA. I remain committed to the cause as ALA has had a significant impact on improving air quality in Maine. On Father's Day 2020 my Dad was diagnosed with mesothelioma which is a form of lung cancer resulting from asbestos exposure he had as a tool and die maker in the 1970s. The disease created tremendous misery on his health and he passed on April 7, 2022. As a result, I have never been more passionate about supporting ALA-Maine so they can continue their work to make our communities safer for all.
Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.
Please join me in supporting the Lung Association - Maine.
Thank you for your past support and considering a donation this year.
