This June, I will join thousands of other cyclists and the American Lung Association in a journey across Maine while raising money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health. Sadly, we will not be gathtering together as we have in the past, but all of us are committed to riding and raising awareness while we maintain social distancing.
This is my EIGHTH year of participating in the Trek Across Maine and I am very much looking forward to it. Each ride has been both challenging and inspiring. The people are great, and the inspring stories of the riders is amazing. Come join me and be a part of the KVCC Chain Lynx team!
Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.
In 2015, my mom Barbara Burnap, passed away due to lung cancer. She was a smoker most of her life. The Trek is a very important part of my wish to honor her and others.
Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation.
Thank you in advance for you support!
