I have mild asthma and I am luckier than others who have lung disease.

 This is my 39th ride as I join hundreds of other cyclists and the American Lung Association to raise money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health. Now more than ever, the work of the American Lung Association is critical to public health. The money that I raise to support the Trek will help fund the $25 million COVID-19 Action Initiative. 

Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including COVID-19, lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.
