Hello Everyone:

Maine's largest family reunion, the Trek Across Maine, is back. And I'm planning to ride in my 24th consecutive event. So much has changed in the way that the Trek is organized, how the course has evolved from a point to point to a loop, and how well I perform against my own goals. (I'm definitely slowing down.) But there hasn't been even the slighest waver in the commitment of the American Lung Association to support healthy air and lung health.

How the world has changed during those 23 years since the turn of the century when I first rode the Trek! Yet I've grown to admire the staff and the incredible hundreds of volunteers who stage this event as the largest participatory fundraising initiative of any American Lung Association chapter in the nation. 

Please join me in my efforts to support the ALA by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible contribution, and a matching gift if your employer sponsors such a program.
