I want to thank everyone who has supported us in the past and to invite anyone interested in donating to the Lung Association to please do so. It is greatly appreciated!! My son Eric and I will once again join thousands of other cyclists and the American Lung Association in the Trek across Maine, while raising money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health. It will be my 27th year, and my son's 23rd year riding in the Trek and supporting the American Lung Association. We are also glad to have my brother Matt riding the Trek with us again this year. He has become a regular over the past twelve years. We are riding in memory of our mom, who was taken from us by lung cancer back in 1996, at the age of 60.

We all love the camradery of the Trek weekend and look forward to it each and every year. It is very important to each of us that we continue supporting the good work of the American Lung Association of Maine.

 Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.
