I want to thank everyone who has supported us in the past and let you know that this June, my son Eric and I will once again join thousands of other cyclists and the American Lung Association in a journey across Maine while raising money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health. We will ride our bikes approximately 180 miles over 3 days. It will be my 23rd year, and my son's 19th year riding in the Trek and supporting the American Lung Association. We are also glad to have my brother Matt riding the Trek with us this year. He has become a regular over the past eight years. We are riding in memory of our mom, who was taken from us by lung cancer in 1996.
Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.
I hope that you can join me in my effort to make a difference by supporting this worthy cause. Please help me to reach my goal by making a tax-deductible donation to the American Lung Association of Maine. Any amount that you can give will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for you support. It truly means a lot!!
