It's hard to believe that I've ridden 27 years in the Trek Across Maine!

Last year was a tough route with a couple of very steep climbs.  The 2023 route seems a little better.   

I will join thousands of other cyclists and the American Lung Association as we journey around Maine to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health. Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. Growing faster than almost any other type of major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema, is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.  

We don't just enjoy the ride, we do it to raise donations for the American Lung Association's work. My goal is to raise enough to reach the Winner's Circle ($1,100) in donations to the Lung Association to support my ride.  I hope you will make a donation to join me in my efforts to make a difference for Lung Health.
