In June of 2020, I will join many cyclists for the TREK, which this year will be a virtual ride for the American Lung Association. The 180 mile bike will be done over the months of May and June. As a health care worker I will ride to raising money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health.
Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. As I ride I'm blessed that I can breath, as many with lung disease struggle to go from bed to chair.
My mom has MAC a lung infection, she has struggled with for over 16 years and has been under treatments to help her body heal from this bacteria.
Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation. This will be my 12th year riding my bike in TREK for American Lung.
I ride because I can and I have healthy lungs. Again this I will ride for the Mid Coast-Parkview Health Team. The TREK this year will be different due to the virus, we will ride but not in large groups, no snack tents every 20 miles, no volunteers and police directing traffic and no cheers from the houses we pass by.
Thank you for your support to the America Lung Association.
