Between May 1 and June 30, I will join thousands of other cyclists and the American Lung Association in another virtual journey across Maine. My journey, which I will undertake in honor and loving memory of my father who inspired me to undertake my first Trek Across Maine in 2000, will likely include bike rides in Massachusetts, Maine, and probably Connecticut, while raising funds to support the ALA's COVID-19 Action Initiative. My performance goal is to achieve at least 1,300, and possibly as many as 1,500 miles of riding between the first week of May and the end of June. I intend to keep all of my supporters periodically informed about my progress toward reaching this goal.
The Covid-19 pandemic, and the American Lung Association's commitment to devote $25 million to address Covid-19 and other emerging viral threats, makes this year's virtual event even more meaningful.
Please join me in my efforts by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation.
Thank you in advance for you support!
