2021 Trek Across Maine | Cycle For Air
Welcome, and thank you for visiting Team Neptune's Cycle For Air - Trek Across Maine team's page!
This is our team's 3rd year participating in this amazing event! I (Susan) started riding in honor of my dad who lived over a year with Stage 4 lung cancer. With a tremendous amount of resilience, spirit, and support from family and friends, he far beat his initial prognosis. The research supported by the American Lung Association at that time also gave us enormous hope. But each of us on this team have our reasons for participating - whether it's a personal fight with lung disease, such as COVID-19, the struggle or loss of a loved one, or a deep commitment to the cause.
Now more than ever, the work of the American Lung Association is critical to public health. I'm thrilled and honored to be riding along several wonderful friends this June! A big thank you to my roommate Anna (who only just started riding last summer and has been crushing the training rides!), fellow Jumbos Michael and Rachel, one of my oldest childhood friends Lauren, and the one and only Emily Gettys joining us from South Carolina!
Thank you for supporting our team- any moral or financial support is incredibly appreciated! You can make a donation to any team member by clicking on their name, and you'll be taken to their personal page.
