The Traditional Trek Returns in 2022!

We are excited to host the 38th annual Trek Across Maine in-person for 2022. We are looking forward to returning to the traditional event we all know and love (we've really missed you). We will also continue to offer the virtual option that has also become popular.

As we continue with planning for the event, we are taking critical steps and following guidance from the American Lung Association to ensure a fun and safe experience for all participants and volunteers.

Our current plan for the 2022 Trek Across Maine event is to welcome all participants and volunteers regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status. However, on campus housing (dorms and camping) and indoor dining (dinner and breakfast) will only be offered to fully vaccinated individuals. The American Lung Association has worked diligently with staff leadership, medical experts and leadership board representatives to put together this policy for all special events across the country. We thank you in advance for your support and understanding!

Registration for the 2022 Trek Across Maine will open later this summer. Please enter your email below to receive up to date information as it becomes available.

Why We Need You in the Fight

In March, the American Lung Association launched a $25 million initiative to end COVID-19 and defend against future respiratory virus pandemics. At the same time, we're continuing our advocacy work to support clean air and redoubling our long-term commitments to lifesaving research.
