The 12th Annual Cycle the Seacoast ride has gone virtual! Instead of riding in person, the American Lung Association has asked each of us to ride 25, 50, or 100 miles before June 30, 2021. At the live event, I would have ridden 50 miles (and had a few donuts along the way), but for my virtual ride, I committed to riding 100 miles over four consecutive weekends.
Last year's virtual ride took me through the deserted streets of Boston and included some historic sites, spring gardens, urban architecture, and water views. This year, it’s quite possible that I’ll be stopping at various donut shops in and around Boston.
As in the past, the purpose of the ride is to raise money to support the American Lung Association and their fight against lung cancer, COPD, asthma, and other serious lung diseases. If the current pandemic has taught us anything, it's that lung disease is a moving target.
Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation in support of the American Lung Association.
Thank you in advance for your support!
