The Annual Clean Air Challenge is coming up fast. Last year my husband, Phil Giorgione, road 60 miles to raise money for lung disease awareness. The funds will also support the American Lung Association's COVID-19 Action Initiative, which will expand the association's research, education and advocacy efforts. This year we will be riding together, and this will be my first Clean Air Challenge!
You may or may not know that I have asthma and dysfunctional vocal cords that cause me to cough uncontrollably and make it hard to catch my breath.
