My dear friend Heidi Postishek-Baker and I are joining thousands of other cyclists and the American Lung Association to raise money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health.
Inspired by and in support of Nancy Postishek (Heidi’s Mom and bilateral lung transplant recipient November 1, 2019), Heidi and I are riding 100 miles on May 9, Mother’s Day weekend, 2020. Nancy had pulmonary fibrosis and thanks to a donor/donor’s family, Nancy now has healthy lungs.
Nancy’s road to recovery is a long uphill battle, but through it all she continues to inspire others to live their best life, treasure family and friends, and to fight with perseverance through faith.
I’m calling this the Cycle for Life, and am honored to support the American Lung Association.
Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.
Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation.
Thank you in advance for you support!
