Lung disease hit close to home in the past year as my wife has battled aspergillosis. This is a fungal infection that affects the lungs and is caused by aspergillus mold. While most people breathe in aspergillus spores without getting sick, in some people the mold can cause inflammation, chronic coughing, lung scarring and other serious lung complications.
I am joining thousands of other cyclists and the American Lung Association to raise money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health.
The 100 mile ride starts at Sauvie Island and meanders through beautiful Oregon forests toward Astoria, OR.
I seeded this fundraiser with my own contribution so please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation.
Thank you in advance for your support!
