RIDING FOR AWARENESS!!!
In May 2020, I am joining thousands of other cyclists and the American Lung Association to raise money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health. I am making the Clean Air Challenge part of my 2020 Alaskan adventures starting Mother's Day weekend in Talkeetna, Alaska. Using pedal power to fight lung disease, I will be riding my road bike up to 100 miles. The Talkeetna Lodge will provide each of us our own room when we raise $1,000 or more. If we don't meet our goals it will be a Willy Wonka weekend.
Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.
My dad suffered from COPD and my aunt Tillie passed away from lung cancer. Two amazing people in my life that I honor and continue their legacy by raising awareness to lung disease.
Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation.
Thank you in advance for you support!
