If you know me, you know I love riding my bike. This year I am riding 100 miles for Lung Disease. From Beaverton, Oregon to Pacific City, Oregon
I am riding for my dad. The guy in the picture. My dad, James Burton, passed away in 2013 from Lung Cancer. Lung Cancer took his life in a very short time. He bacame sick in September and thought he was just sick and needed to rest. By October 2nd my Dad passed away. He was only 62 years. The age most people retire. Growing up my dad provided everything my family needed.
In May I am joining thousands of other cyclists and the American Lung Association to raise money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health.
Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States
Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation.
Thank you in advance for you support!
