Dear Friends and Family,. I am joining thousands of other cyclists and the American Lung Association to raise money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about lung health.

Lung disease can take someones's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play.  Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease including lung cancer,  asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of death in the United States.

Riding for the American Lung association is very personal for me as my husband Scott was diagnosed in 2016 with a very rare autoimmune disease that attacks your lungs. In 2018 he was diagnosed with lung cancer and had to have a lobectomy. Today he is cancer free and we are managing his lung disease with diet, food, exercise and medication.
