Let’s make sure everyone can benefit from healthy air and lungs.
As many of you know I have participated in this event for the last 7 years. I'll be biking 105 miles from Portland, OR to Pacific City, OR on May 18th, 2019 in support of the American Lung Association and its efforts to combat lung disease. This ride is extremely challenging with an elevation gain of more than 2100 feet over 105 miles. The ride traverses over some of Oregon’s most scenic and challenging landscapes. This ride pales in comparison to what those faced with lung disease have to endure. This hits close to home as my wife Laura's Father succumbed to lung cancer in 2010. I personally have also struggled with asthma since early childhood. I will be riding, as I have in years past, in Mick Arnold's memory. Any donation is greatly appreciated and will help me achieve my goal.
