Please help me and hundreds of others make the 2023 Clean Air Challenge a big success.
I'm riding because I am grateful. I'm grateful because my wife, Patty Ginsburg, survived life-threatening lung cancer 18 years ago -- and since then we've both done everything we can to make that miracle possible for others. The American Lung Association sponsors the research, does the advocacy, and provides the life-saving support to make that possible.
The Lung Association led the fight against second-hand smoke in public places, and my health is much better as a result. The Lung Association helps people leave tobacco addictions behind, and many people I know are healthier and happier for it. And for the past three years, the Lung Association has been on the front lines tackling the Covid-19 pandemic. Without them, many more Americans would have perished.
So I'm riding again in the Clean Air Challenge, and my goal, at age 68, is to ride the full 100 miles. I've personally given what I can to the cause and hope you will, too. Please click the button on this page and do what you can to give us all a boost.
I'm hugely grateful for your support.
