Today, I rode 90 miles over a period of 9 hours using my own route. I felt pretty good physically, mentally, and spiritually as this ride was dedicated to Ella White, my sister with COPD, and Jeanine Gann, teacher friend who died of lung cancer having never soked in her life.
If you are interested in donating an amount to the American Lung Association, even if it is just for clean air, you can tie it to my ride. Perhaps, $x per hour or per mile. Your decision .... There are lots of charaties out there.
The ride was a wet one with temperatures in the 50s. I would not have riden that distance on such a day if I was doing it just for my enjoyment and fitness.
