I am joining thousands of other cyclists and the American Lung Association to raise money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health.

In 2017, my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 COPD. She fought bravely for almost six years but passed on in 2022. When she was diagnosed, I felt powerless. That's when I started participating in the Fight for Air Climbs to raise money for the ALA. This year I am switching it up and creating a team of friends to raise money through the Reach the Beach event.
