You are all probably tired of my fundraising requests but I continue to be a huge supporter of the American Lung Association. We all know someone who has been impacted by lung disease and it has impacted me personally with the loss of my brothers, Tim Holbrook, David Holbrook and Bob Holbrook, my dear friend Katy Peppers, along with my Aunt Pat Vermillion. My sister-in-law Debra Endres-Lynn is currently battling lung cancer.  I am riding Reach the Beach Oregon in support of them. You will see my request again in a few months when I ride in Reach the Beach Washington.

Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.
