Dear friends and family:
The annual Clean Air Challenge is back in Talkeetna this year on May 11. I'm hoping to ride 60-100 miles to help raise money for lung disease awareness in honor of my dear friend Marla who was recently treated for lung cancer and is now in remission. I'm also honoring my mom, who died of lung cancer 22 years ago - way too soon. The funds will also support the American Lung Association's research, education and advocacy efforts.
Along with my dear friend Patty Ginsburg (a lung cancer survivor herself), Team Patty & Molly is hoping to continue our fundraising efforts this year. Patty is mainly fundraising for the American Lung Association for her husband's Race Across America (RAAM) team, which is scheduled for June 2024.
