Please help me and hundreds of others make the 2023 Clean Air Challenge a big success.
I'm riding because I am grateful. I'm grateful because my wife, Patty Ginsburg, survived life-threatening lung cancer 18 years ago -- and since then we've both done everything we can to make that miracle possible for others. The American Lung Association sponsors the research, does the advocacy, and provides the life-saving support to make that happen.
The Lung Association led the fight against second-hand smoke in public places, and my health is much better as a result. The Lung Association helps people leave tobacco addictions behind, and many people I know are healthier and happier for it. And for the past three years, the Lung Association has been on the front lines tackling the Covid-19 pandemic. Without them, many more Americans would have perished.
So I'm riding again in the Clean Air Challenge, and my goal, at age 68, is to ride 60 -- and maybe even the full 100 -- miles. I've personally given what I can to the cause and hope you will, too. Please click the button on this page and do what you can to give us all a boost.
I'm hugely grateful for your support.
