Last year, I completed this ride for the first time. This year, I'm excited to start 44 miles out and complete this ride for the American Lung Association. It's hard to believe that I lost my mother, Sheila Lee, on October 12th, 2021, to COVID-19. For as long as I can remember, my mother battled bronchitis, MS, lupus, and asthma.
In my mother's honor and for countless others, I am joining thousands of other cyclists and the American Lung Association to raise money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health.
Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise, or play. Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma, and emphysema, is the third leading cause of death in the United States.
I invite you to support my cause by contributing a tax-deductible personal or corporate donation to help make a difference.
Thank you in advance for your support!
