A bit about my journey. On July 16th 2022 I finished 4 rounds of chemotherapy cancer treatment. Due to a malignant transformation I am not considered cured and am getting quarterly CT scans to monitor this issue. A scan in 2023 showed some growth and was followed by a biopsy that confirmed I still have an issue. I have had two surgeries, one in September of 2023 and another in March of 2024. I am riding both to support this cause and to regain and build my health and fitness. My care team not only approves of this activity, they insisted on my doing the training for this ride when I told them about it.

So, once again I am joining thousands of other cyclists and the American Lung Association to raise money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about the importance of lung health.
Lung disease can take someone's breath away, leaving them unable to work, exercise or play. Growing faster than almost any other major illness, lung disease, including lung cancer, asthma and emphysema is the third leading cause of the death in the United States.
Please join me in my efforts to make a difference by making a personal or corporate tax-deductible donation.
Thank you in advance for you support!
