Hello Everyone!!
Our Madison Fire team is doing the Fight For Air Climb again to challenge ourselves and to support people with lung disease who have to fight for every breath.
The 2020 Fight for Air Climb on March 7th was one of the last mass gathering events we participated in last year.
And this years 2021 Fight For Air Climb, on May 22, will likely be one of the first mass gathering events we will be able to participate in since the start of the pandemic!
This years Climb will look a little different in that it is being held outside at the Brewer's baseball stadium; however, we will be geared up the same in full firefighter turnout gear with an SCBA airpack.
This past year was a grave reminder about how important lung health is; seeing our patients, family, friends, coworkers and sometimes even ourselves battle the Coronavirus.
We're coming together for a healthier future, for clean air and for vital COVID-19 research.
