Team Marv 2015
Join Team Marv!
As many of you know, my dad died of lung cancer at the age of 77. My dad started smoking as a teenager and, though he quit when he was in his forties, the damage was done. When he asked his doctor what the point was of quitting smoking when he ended up with cancer and COPD anyway, the doctor told him that he would not have lived nearly as long as he did if he had continued.
It's a horrible disease. No one should struggle to breathe. That is why my sister and I started Team Marv and on May 1, 2021 we are for the ELEVENTH time climbing in the Fight For Air Climb.
Thank you for joining this important fight for children with asthma, teens who are pressured to start smoking, people with lung cancer and emphysema, and everyone who wants to breathe healthy air in our communities.
