Jennifer Wong is a Communications Associate at Strategies 360, a strategic communications and public affairs firm in Downtown Honolulu. With an award-winning background in television news, Jennifer provides expertise needed to develop and execute successful communications campaigns, and provides media support and management to her clients.
Prior to joining Strategies 360, Jennifer was a News Producer at Hawaiʻi News Now, where she launched “Hawaiʻi News Now: First at Four,” which was honored with a regional Emmy Award in its first year on air. Her work has been recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the Associated Press.
Jennifer is an island girl with a deep connection to her community. Born and raised on Oʻahu, she is passionate about the Hawaiian language and culture, and dances hula with Hālau Hula ʻO Hokulani. In her free time, you can find Jennifer hiking a mountain ridge, traveling, or catching up with friends.
She is a proud graduate of Leilehua High School. She earned her bachelor degrees in journalism and English, as well as a minor in Political Science, from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
Jennifer says, “As someone who has struggled with asthma since childhood, I understand the impact the American Lung Association’s efforts have in bringing awareness to a disease that affects so many in Hawaiʻi.”
