Mary Fastenau is a Senior Partner at Anthology Marketing Group, a Finn Partners Company. Her responsibilities include account service, media, and social media. She also remains passionate about digital communications and web development.
Fastenau has more than 40 years of experience in newspapers, advertising, communications and the digital marketing industry. Fastenau was part of the team that formed Anthology in 2007 with the merger of two of the state’s largest communication companies.
Fastenau has been recognized by the American Advertising Federation Hawaiʻi chapter as Ad Woman of the Year, and as a Silver Medal winner for individual achievement. She was inducted into the Shidler College of Business Hall of Honor in 2018.
She is passionate about giving back to the community and currently serves on the boards of Nā Koa football club, American Lung Association Lung Force Women’s Cabinet, Patsy T. Mink Center for Business and Leadership, and Hawaiʻi Public Radio and is a member of the Hawaiʻi Women’s Forum. She has spent more than 30 years working with the American Heart & Stroke Association, where she served on local, regional and national boards and was recognized as a regional and local Volunteer of the Year.
Fastenau received her undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska and her Executive MBA from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Shidler College of Business.
