In January of 2017 Mimi retired from Inkinen and Associates, after 6 years there as an executive search consultant. Since then she has found her path in serving the community in several ways. She continues to serve as the President of the Advisory Board to the Sex Abuse Treatment Center (SATC). Through Kapiolani Hospital, SATC has served victims of sex assault for over 40 years and Mimi has been an active member of the board for over 25 years.
Additionally, she is now a trained volunteer mediator at the Mediation Center of the Pacific. Her focus is with resolving conflicts involving neighbors, landlords and tenants and community associations, and family.
When called upon, Mimi is also providing thoughtful career and sales consulting to those looking for advice or perspective. Prior to Inkinen & Associates Mimi had an extensive business career in sales, sales management and marketing. With over 35 years in the Hawaii business community, she has been respected and known for hiring, training and coaching winning sales teams. Mimi’s strong background in broadcast media includes long, successful careers at KSSK and Cox Radio. Prior to joining Inkinen and Associates Mimi was Vice President of Business Development at the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii.
An active participant in Hawaii’s community, Mimi was a founding member of the Women’s Fund of Hawaii, the Professional Women’s Network and the Hawaii Women’s 10K Run. Anyone who knows Mimi, knows of her passion for fitness and balance in life. In addition to her fitness routine is a modest effort to play reasonable golf. Mimi is married to a terrific guy named Biff Graper and has 2 of the best cats imaginable.
Mimi is raising funds for the Lung Association because she understands that we are in exceptional times, which includes a significant attack to our lungs. “The American Lung Association is in a unique position to help address this issue and always had an important and valuable role in our community. Now more than ever support is needed.”
