Meet Some of Our Biggest Supporters

Team Citadel

Team Citadel

This is the 6th year we have climbed The Presidential Towers for Susan Warmerdam, our team captain and fellow Citadel employee, as she continues to fight her own battle against stage 4 lung cancer. Susan never smoked and her doctors told her that her condition was inoperable and incurable. But she fought with everything in her power to be the miracle patient and has been cancer-free for 4½ years. We are honored to do the Fight For Air Climbs with Susan and proud to be her biggest supporters, as well as support all those battling cancer, through our climbing and fundraising efforts. Together, we’ve raised more than $300,000!

Team Stab Plus

Team Stab Plus

Team Stab Plus has raised more than $275,000 for the Fight For Air Climb in Philadelphia over the past eight years. In the last three years alone, they've raised more than $150,000. The team was started by Mike Carr in honor of his good friend, John Stabilito, who suffered from COPD. Following John’s passing in 2010, 755 Team Stab Plus members have climbed in honor or memory of loved ones who lost their battle with lung disease and for those who still struggle. Their list, of those lives affected, is 29 people and grows every year. The team is so committed to be able to provide continuous fundraising to support the American Lung Association’s mission.
