Dr. Gail Brottman, MD
Hennepin Healthcare, Minneapolis, MN

Dr. Gail Brottman serves as Director of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine at Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis, Minnesota and as an attending physician for the Pediatric Pulmonary Service at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital. Dr. Brottman has long worked to reduce the significant disparities in asthma care delivered to children living in poverty and in communities of color. She first began to collaborate with the American Lung Association in Minnesota more than 30 years ago, via an inner-city initiative. Dr. Brottman served as the co-principal investigator for the CDC-funded Controlling Asthma in American Cities project. She earned her medical degree at the Chicago Medical School and completed her residency in Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Brottman is board certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology.
