Protect Georgia Healthcare Coverage

Governor Kemp's proposal to reshape private health insurance in Georgia is before the federal government for approval. For patients with lung disease – including asthma, COPD and lung cancer – having quality and affordable healthcare is essential.
We are deeply concerned that the Georgia Access model will jeopardize access to quality and affordable healthcare coverage for patients with lung disease and other pre-existing conditions.

Dear [Decision Maker],

I write today to express my opposition to the Georgia Access model which would require consumers to enroll in coverage through insurance companies and web brokers instead of, an unbiased enrollment platform that consumers know and trust. This plan will make it more difficult for patients to select comprehensive, affordable healthcare coverage.

I encourage you not to approve this policy, as it will make it more difficult for patients to get the comprehensive coverage they need.
