Ride is to Lung 2

  2. Customize your Personal Fundraising Webpage. Share why YOU Ride.
  3. Use our online resources to Send Emails to Friends, Family and Co-Workers. Ask them all to donate to your fundraising efforts by using one of the pre-written emails available to you participant center or write your own.

  5. Have fun with it. Keep your friends, family and co-workers up to date on your training, your fundraising success and ways the American Lung Association is spending the money you raise on mission activities.

Matching Gifts

Your donations can go even further with a matching gift! Many companies offer matching gift programs in which the company will match an employee’s contribution to a charitable organization. If you are not sure if you qualify for a matching gift, please use the company search tool below. The tool will provide you with information regarding minimum and maximum match criteria, as well as steps on how to get started.

Some companies without a formal program may still match your gift, if you ask your personnel or human resources department.

ALL matching gift email notifications sent to the participant or any hard copies matching gift forms that need to be completed by the American Lung Association before being sent to the company need to be submitted via email to your local event manager.  This way you will receive credit towards your fundraising as soon as any form is received.

Most importantly, don’t forget to keep the FUN in FUNdraising! There is nothing like the satisfaction of knowing you are making a difference in someone’s life whether you have a personal connection or you are participating for all those affected by lung disease.
