Power Hour

Power Hour is open to Elite Climbers and those participants choosing to complete multiple consecutive climbs. Participants will have one hour to climb the 50 floors as many times as they want within the 60 minutes. Best time will count toward single best time. Single Elite Climbers (those climbing only once) will start first, followed by multi-climb participants.

General Climb

The General Climb begins at 8:30. Wave times will be self-determined by participants. Wave times are a general guideline designed to keep the stairs safe by staggering participants so that a new climber enters the stairwell every 10-15 seconds. Those looking to place will start first while those looking simply to complete the climb will go last.

What should I bring on event day?
Please bring any fundraising dollars you have collected and not yet turned in. Please bring a roster of your team members if you are the captain as well as how much each person raised if not already online. Most importantly, please bring a positive attitude and lots of energy!

What can I bring in the stairwells?
You may only bring inhalers, iPods, cell phones, MP3 players into the stairwell with you. There will be water stations in the stairwells. Due to building regulations, we do not allow participants to carry children while they climb in the stairwells.

Eat. Sleep. Climb. Repeat.

Water Stations

Water will be available on several floors during the Climb. Be sure to dispose of your water bottle in trash bags provided in the stairwell. Do not litter.

To ensure the safety of all climbers and to allow for the best experience, please pass slower climbers on the left and let them know you are passing. You should always climb on the right and pass on the left.

Emergency Medical Technicians will be on the 25th and 50th floors for your safety.

Please note that all climbers must be at least 10 years old on event day in order to participate. Any climber under the age of 18 must climb with an adult, and must not be left alone under any circumstances. For adults who climb at a faster pace, please note that your child may not be left unattended while you climb. Please make arrangements accordingly. Due to building regulations, your safety, and that of your child, child toting is not allowed.
