When do I find out my start time?
We start climbing at 9:00am the morning of the event. First Responders will go first and then based on expected climb speed, individuals and teams will begin climbing. It will depend on how many First Responders we have but regular climbers usually start around 9:30am. Once again depending on how many over all climbers register to climb with us this year, we are usually finished climbing by 10:30am. We ask that all climbers show up no later than 9:30am to allow time to register. Volunteers will be positioned around the Oasis property along with signs to direct you to several parking areas the day of the event.
What should I bring on event day?
Bring your excitement and positive attitude! The American Lung Association and its sponsors will have food, water, and other beverages available throughout the morning.
What can I bring in the stairwells?
You may only bring inhalers, iPods, cell phones, MP3 players into the stairwell with you. There will be water stations in the stairwells. Due to building regulations, we do not allow participants to carry children while they climb in the stairwells.

Climb Awards are presented after the climb the day of the event on the beautiful Oasis Tower One Pool Deck overlooking the Caloosahatchee River. All finishers will receive a medal. Trophies will be awarded to first place male and female finishers for individual climb times. There are also team and fundraising trophies awarded and awards within the firefighter and first responders’ climber categories. Placement medals will be given to second and third place male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80-89.

Spectators: For everyone’s safety and security, anyone who is NOT climbing WILL NOT be permitted in the stairwell or at the top floor. Spectators are welcome at the starting area in front of the building and on the pool deck for the awards ceremony.
You may run or you may walk. No sitting on the stairs.
Emergency teams will be located on the 15th floor and top floor in case you need assistance. Volunteers will be available at the water stations to notify them if you need help.
Water stations are located starting line, Halfway up the stairs on the 15th floor, on the top floor and at the after party pool deck/awards area. Water bottles are not allowed in the stairwells, as it is a safety hazard.
Always announce your presence and your intent to pass the slower climber. Climb on the left or inside of the stairwell. Pass on the right or outside.
Please note that all climbers must be at least 6 years old by event day in order to participate. Any climber under the age of 18 must climb with an adult, and must not be left alone under any circumstances. For adults who climb at a faster pace, please note that your child may not be left unattended while you climb. Please make arrangements accordingly.
