The Fight For Air Ride begins at McHenry County College, in Crystal Lake, IL. Be on the lookout for signs to indicate where registration is set-up. You will receive a parking pass at check-in to place in your vehicle. Your vehicle will stay in the McHenry County College parking lot in LOT C for the duration of the weekend until we return to Crystal Lake, on Sunday. All Riders must place their parking pass in a visible area on your dashboard to avoid towing/fines. All luggage will be placed on a truck and will be transported to the Abbey.
If you are participating in the 3-day Ride, you will begin on Friday and end on Sunday. The 2-day Ride begins on Saturday and ends on Sunday.

Only registered participants and volunteers may be on the Ride route. The route is alcohol and tobacco free. An adult must accompany participants below the age of 18 on the route at all times. All participants are required to wear a helmet and follow Illinois/Wisconsin Bicycle Laws.
There are two rest stops on each route stocked with water, Gatorade, and other nutritious snacks. Bike mechanics are available at the Start and Finish lines for pre/post bike checks. If you can't make it to a rest stop, SAG vehicles and the bike mechanics are constantly sweeping the route in case Riders need an extra hand.
The American Lung Association and the Fight For Air Ride are focused on bicyclist safety, and courtesy to neighbors, where we ride. Help our ride to be a positive experience for all! Before the ride, please review relevant laws and skills by taking the Adult Bicyclist quiz at www.bikesafetyquiz.com.
