Safety Procedures and Climber Etiquette

To ensure the safety of all climbers and allow for the best experience, please pass slower climbers on the left, and let them know you are coming from behind to pass. Emergency teams will be located throughout the stairwell and at the top of the tower in case you need assistance. Volunteers will be available at the water stations to notify them if you need help.

Water Stations

Water stations are located in the general event area outside, throughout the stairwell, and in the Finish Area at the top of the tower. Water bottles are NOT allowed in the stairwells, as it is a safety hazard.

Always announce your presence and your intent to pass the slower climber. Climb on the right side of the stairwell. Pass on the left side. More detailed rules will be given on the day of the climb during announcements.
