Are you ready to Step Up to the Challenge and become a VIP/Top Fundraiser? We can help you get there! And when you reach these important milestones you will also be making a significant impact on mission efforts to support all those affected by lung disease.
Top fundraising climbers and teams are recognized through the Fight For Air Climb Super Steppers and Summit Club, respectively. The Super Steppers acknowledges individual climbers that have raised $500 or more. The Summit Club recognizes teams for raising $5,000 and above.
Each climber who raises $500 for the 2018 climb will join the Super Steppers Club for 2019.
Want to be first in line to climb next year? Climbers that raise $500 or more are guarenteed low bib numbers, starting with 001. You will also receive recognition on the Climb website and our Facebook page. You deserve to kick-off the race after all that hard work fundraising and training. Step up to the Challenge!
The Super Steppers from 2017 are: Matt Miller - $2,105; Dawn Gibson, $813; and Kimberly Breece, $500.
This prestigious club is the most coveted and reserved only for teams raising over $5,000 in the previous year's event. These teams will receive low bib numbers and other benefits.
Summit Club members will receive preferred start times, guaranteeing your team to be the first to summit the building. Additional Summit Club member perks include a team table at the event with complimentary Climb supplies, a designated table at the After Party and recognition on our Climb website and Facebook page. Be a rock star team captain and set your goal to become a Summit Club team in 2018!
There were no Summit Club members from the 2017 climb. However, the top fundraising teams were;
Messer Construction/Matt Miller with Captain Matt Miller - $2,695
TN Media with Captain Kimber Beeler - $1,215
Air Ambassadors with Captain Dawn Gibson - $1,213
Bonded Filter with Captain Timothy Embody - $1,118

Click Here to view the members of the Mission First Club. Each year after fundraising events like the stair climb and walk, your local Amercian Lung Association spends thousands of dollars on "benefits to donors" or prize incentives. These incentives are the gift certificates and other prized that climbers and walkers earn while raising money in support of the American Lung Association's local service programs and important medical research. Many thanks to these generous climbers and walkers who donate their prize incentive back to the ALA. They are members of the Mission First Club and truly put the mission first.
How do I join? During registration you will be asked a series of questions before your registration is finalized. Select YES to join the Mission First Club when prompted. Already registered? Contract your climb manager to see if you are already a member or would like to join.
What do I get as a member of the Mission First Club? As a member of the Mission First Club, you will be recognized on our website for graciously donating your prize back to the American Lung Association. You will also receive special recognition before, during and after next year's climb. We could send you a T-shirt or some other prize, but that would defeat the purpose of recognizing the importance you place on putting the mission first, right?
