When do I find out my start time?
Start times will be announced via email the week of the Climb. If you register after Thursday, February 15th, you will receive your climb time at check-in on Climb day. So, be sure to register early!
Super Steppers & top individuals from 2017 will begin the climb, followed by individual climbers, then teams in alphabetical order.
Firefighters/First Responders/Military & EMTs will begin after the last civilian climber returns to the main lobby. Each predicted start time will be issued to you prior to Climb day.
Times are staggered (about 15-30 seconds) to prevent stairwell congestion.

What should I bring on event day?
Please bring any additional donations and your Climb waiver (if you registered offline) to Registration/Check-In. Team captains are encouraged to bring a team roster to assist with a speedy check-in. Most importantly, bring a positive attitude and LOTS of energy!
Coat check will be available. You may bring a small bag to store your personal items, if needed. But, you will not be able to take the bag into the stairwell. No backpacks please.
Water will be provided at the event, but we suggest that you also supply your own water bottle. Water bottles & Camelbacks are prohibited in the stairwell due to safety precautions. Water stations are accessible throughout the Climb.
What should I wear to the Climb?
You MUST wear proper attire to participate in the Climb. This includes athletic shoes and active wear. You may not wear open-toed shoes, dangling jewelry, or inappropriate/obscene clothing
What can I bring in the stairwells?
You may only bring inhalers, iPods, cell phones, MP3 players into the stairwell with you. Water bottles & Camelbacks are prohibited in the stairwell. If you bring a small bag to store your personal items, it must be left at coat check. No backpacks please. There will be water stations in the stairwells. Due to building regulations and safety precautions, we do not allow participants to carry children while they climb in the stairwells.
The Fight For Air Climb is all about the challenge. Climbers and teams challenge themselves to reach the top, raise money, beat the clock, and be the best. While raising money to fight lung disease is our top priority, we know all of our climbers and teams work hard to meet whatever challenge they set for themselves. Awards will be given post-Climb.
Results will be posted on the Climb website immediately following the event.

To ensure the safety of all climbers and allow for the best experience, please pass slower climbers on the wall without the rail, and let them know you are coming from behind to pass. You should always climb on the rail side of the stairwell. Emergency teams will be located at the bottom and top in case you need assistance. Volunteers will be available at the water stations to notify them if you need help.
Trained medical personnel will be located on the 29th floor (top floor) and in the lobby on stand-by at the elevators.
Water stations are located on Floors 8, 15, 22 and 29, as well as on the main floor. Water bottles and Camelbacks are not allowed in the stairwells, as it is a safety hazard.
Always announce your presence and your intent to pass the slower climber. Climb on the rail side of the stairwell. Pass on the left side.
Please note that all climbers must be at least 8 years old by event day in order to participate. Any climber under the age of 18 must climb with an adult, and must not be left alone under any circumstances. For adults who climb at a faster pace, please note that your child may not be left unattended while you climb. Please make arrangements accordingly. Due to building regulations, your safety, and that of your child, child toting is not allowed.
