Day Of Event Details

Event Day Schedule

8:00 AM - Late registration and packet pick up begin
9:00 AM Roads begin to close
9:30 AM - Run/Walk Begins (Starting Line: Upper North Parking Lot)
10:00 AM (approx.) - Exhibitors, Food & Fun on the Plaza

It is suggested that participants arrive by 8 a.m. to check-in, retrieve your bib, and stretch. PLEASE NOTE: The roads within Red Rocks will begin closing at 9 a.m. to ensure a safe race route. Please plan accordingly and arrive early.

Parking and Driving Directions

Please enter Red Rocks Park through Entrance 1 and Entrance 2 if possible as the Denver Police Department will be directing traffic on Hwy 93 at those two entrances. These entrances will direct participants to the Upper North Lot, Lower North Lot and Lower South Lot.

Entrance 3 out of Morrison will also be open and will take participants to the south parking lots, but the Denver Police Department will not be directing traffic here. Please note, we close the roads for the race and they will re-open as participants finish the route and the south roads will be the last to open.

Please plan to arrive no later than 8 a.m. in order to have ample time to park & check-in. Space is limited so please carpool when possible.

Awards

Race Awards will be handed out on event day at 11 AM so make sure to stick around! Fastest Male/Female Runner in each of the following groups for both 5K and 10K events:

  • 12 & Under
  • 13 - 19
  • 20 - 29
  • 30 - 39
  • 40 - 49
  • 50 - 59
  • 60 - 69
  • 70 - 79
  • 80 - 89
  • 90+

**We will also have an award for the overall male and female runners. All awards (besides the overall male and female awards) will be based on chip time. The overall male and female awards will be based on gun time.

Team Awards

Team Captain in the following categories will receive awards after the fundraising deadline on November 12 at 2pm:

  • Fastest Team
  • Largest Team
  • Highest Fundraising Team
  • Second-Highest Fundraising Team
  • Third-Highest Fundraising Team
  • Highest Individual Fundraiser
  • Second Highest Individual Fundraiser
  • Third Highest Individual Fundraiser

Safety Procedures

We will have EMS at the event. In case of emergency, please locate the closest EMS or Staff member to assist you.
