Join us for the latest in diagnostic approaches, state-of-the-art treatment practices, advances in palliative care, and a wealth of hands-on tools for nurse navigators, nurse coordinators, and nursing staff providing care to patients with lung cancer. Topics for the conference will include:

  • Lung Cancer Genetics
  • Supporting the Caregiver
  • Controversial Treatments and Therapies

This two-day conference will include plenary sessions and panel discussions presented by leading healthcare professionals in the field of lung cancer across the region. On Friday evening, there will be a celebratory event, Bling - Breathe - Believe, to honor our attendees for their dedication to the field of lung cancer.

Registration fee:
Regular Registration fee is $175 from July 16 - October 17, 2013

Registration fee includes all conference plenary and break-out sessions, access to the exhibits, all meals and breaks, and entrance and to the Bling, Breathe, Believe Celebration on Friday evening.

Continuing Education Credits
 This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Oncology Nursing Society, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commision on Accreditation.

9.25 contact hours to registered nurse participants will be provided.

Lung Cancer Special Interest Group
The conference is hosted by The American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest (ALAUM) Lung Cancer Special Interest Group. The ALAUM launched the Lung Cancer Special Interest Group in February 2011.  This special interest group is working to develop relationships with key individuals who work with lung cancer patients; increase access to lung cancer professionals and lay volunteers; train more professionals in Freedom from Smoking; and move the ALAUM's mission around lung cancer forward.
